Iron Woman 80 offers clothing, accessories and more!Welcome to Iron Woman 80
Empowering beauty, bold style, and stories of resilience.
Hi, I’m Meeks, founder, designer, single mom, and proud Native woman, born and raised on the Blackfeet Reservation. Life hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has shaped this brand, and I’m so grateful you’re here.
Iron Woman 80 is more than just fashion, it’s my story stitched into every piece. As a young girl, I dreamed of runways and cover shoots, flipping through pages of Vogue and InStyle under the Big Sky. Though my path didn’t lead to modeling, my love for style, design, and creativity never left me.
I’ve been sewing, beading, and crafting since I was young, first out of necessity, then out of love. Being a single parent has taught me grit, heart, and what it really means to hustle. I built this shop from scratch, through long nights, short budgets, and with the belief that Indigenous voices belong in fashion, too.
In the beginning, every shirt, sweater, and sticker was made by me, by hand. I invested in a large sublimation machine, vinyl cutters, a Cricut, and a heat press. I designed, printed, pressed, and packaged every single item myself. It was a labor of love, but also one that became physically and financially draining. The cost of materials, constant need for blanks, and inevitable waste added up fast.
Eventually, I made the decision to shift. I sold the machines, cleared out the clutter, and embraced a made-to-order model with trusted partners. Now, I can focus on what I love most, designing meaningful pieces, while keeping things more sustainable, efficient, and kind to the Earth.
Iron Woman 80 is built on the values of sustainability, cruelty-free beauty, and bold, confidence-first expression. Every design still starts with me, sometimes at the kitchen table, sometimes with a cat in my lap and is brought to life through ethical production practices that honor my time, heritage, and planet.
We are currently navigating shifts in the global fashion industry. As of May 2, 2025, new U.S. tariffs and the removal of the “de minimis” exemption are affecting import prices and supply chains, especially for small shops like mine. Some product prices may fluctuate, and delivery times may be longer. I appreciate your patience and understanding more than you know.
🌿 The good news? Our napkins, placemats, and table runners are making a comeback! After a long search, we’ve found new suppliers, and slowly but surely, they’re returning to the shop.
And to our customers and family in California, my heart is with you. That place was home for a long time. I’m thankful my loved ones are safe, and I’m holding space for everyone impacted.
Thank you for supporting a Native, mom-owned brand. Your orders aren’t just transactions, they’re moments of connection and hope. Every purchase helps me provide for my child, honor my ancestors, and keep creating designs that celebrate strength, story, and Indigenous pride.
With love and gratitude,
Meeks
