Welcome to Iron Woman 80. Empowering beauty, bold style, and stories of resilience.I’m Meeks: founder, designer, single mom, and proud Native woman, born and raised on the Blackfeet Reservation. Life hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge shaped this brand. I’m grateful you’re here. What Iron Woman 80 means

- Endurance: Pieces made to keep up with real life
- Edge: Bold expression, clean lines, and a fearless point of view
My story: As a young girl under the Big Sky, I flipped through Vogue, Glamour and InStyle, dreaming of runways and cover shoots. Modeling wasn’t my path, but design never left me. I’ve been sewing, beading, and crafting since I was young, first out of necessity, then out of love. Being a single parent taught me grit and hustle. This shop started with long nights, short budgets, and a belief that Indigenous voices belong in fashion, too. From handmade to made‑to‑order In the early days, every shirt, sweater, and sticker was made by hand. I invested in a sublimation machine, vinyl cutters, a Cricut, and a heat press, designing, printing, pressing, and packaging each item myself. It was a labor of love, but the cost of materials, the constant need for blanks, and inevitable waste added up. I made a shift. I sold the machines, cleared the clutter, and moved to a made‑to‑order model with trusted partners. Now I focus on what I love most, designing meaningful pieces, while keeping production more sustainable, efficient, and kinder to the Earth. Every design still starts with me, sometimes at the kitchen table, sometimes with a cat in my lap and is brought to life through ethical practices that honor my time, heritage, and the planet.
Our values
- Sustainability first: Low‑waste made‑to‑order, thoughtful materials
- Cruelty‑free beauty: Confidence without compromise
- Native, mom‑owned: Pride in heritage, purpose in every piece
**Shop update (tariffs, timing, and what’s returning) “We’re navigating shifts in the global fashion industry. As of May 2, 2025, new U.S. tariffs and the removal of the “de minimis” exemption are affecting import prices and supply chains, especially for small shops. Some prices may fluctuate and delivery times may be longer.” Thank you for your patience and understanding.**The good news: our napkins, placemats, and table runners are making a comeback. After a long search, we’ve found new suppliers and they’re slowly returning to the shop.
